DO I NEED A CONDUCT STATEMENT (VOG)?
If you are going to do voluntary work, you may need a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). With this statement you show that your behavior is not a risk for voluntary work. A Certificate of Good Conduct is often necessary for organizations where people handle money, secret data and children or vulnerable people.
In some cases you can request a free Certificate of Good Conduct. This is especially for volunteers who work with minors and/or people with intellectual disabilities. Discuss this with the organization where you will be doing volunteer work. They can arrange this for you.
