How do you indicate that you have made an appointment via the website?
If a contact via the website has led to an appointment, it is important to indicate this in your profile. This keeps the website up-to-date and Diemenvoorelkaar has insight into the results achieved.
On the website we call such an agreement a 'match', this is the term used by NLvoorelkaar (the umbrella organizations for all 'Voorelkaar' platforms in the Netherlands) and which may be somewhat confusing. A 'match' therefore means nothing more than that after contacting each other via the website you make an appointment, regardless of whether there is a 'click' and whether you meet up more often or not.
An example: suppose you once went out for coffee with someone and unfortunately there appears to be no click, then in this case there is indeed a 'match', because there has been an appointment.
You can easily record a 'match' (an appointment) by logging in and clicking 'READ' under 'My messages' for the person in question.
You will then see the following question at the top of your screen: did this contact lead to a match? Then tick 'yes' or 'no'.
This is important to ensure that the website functions as optimally as possible and to know which requests for help are solved quickly and which questions are open for a longer period of time.
If necessary, we can advise you to formulate a request for help in a slightly different way, to adjust or expand the profile description slightly, so that the chance of a match (appointment) increases.
