Saturday 14 May: day 1 of the TipTop Garden Weekend 2022

What a successful morning it was!! Enthusiastic, hardworking volunteers who have cleaned up the gardens. The residents were very happy with their help. Very nice!

Our regular gardener Jaap van de Buurthulpdienst drove past all the gardens to leave the necessary garden tools behind. I (Amarens) came to meet the residents and volunteers. Everyone also received a bag with some goodies and handy things. On to tomorrow, then the rest of the gardens will be done...

SUNDAY 15 MAY

Sunday 15 May: day 2 of the TipTop Garden Weekend 2022

It all went more than well; the people were so happy, thankful and enjoyed the visit. A big thumbs up to all the volunteers who worked this weekend!! Both the people in the garden and the volunteers who visited the gardens on behalf of Diemenvoorelkaar.
And thanks to Jaap, the others learned more about trees and plants in the garden and he immediately took the green waste back to the Gemeentewerf.

We say: 100% passed and on to the next TipTop Garden Weekend!
